You've got the internship. Now what?
Colleges, universities and support organizations
work hard to secure internships for their students.
But that’s only the beginning!
These workshops teach students how to get the most out of their internship experience. They’ll set goals, gain tools for networking, and learn how to position themselves for a successful career.
Part 1: Participants learn the importance of networking within their organization and how to do so effectively. They’ll be able to:
Direct their experience toward what they most want to learn.
Identify opportunities to connect during their internship.
Gain exposure outside of their job description.
Ask for and manage informational interviews.
Part 2: Participants learn how to grow the relationships they have built during their internship and prepare for the next steps in their career. They’ll have the confidence to:
Build a “post-internship” elevator pitch.
Plan for future opportunities.
Manage and grow their professional network.
Find mentors and sponsors to help them along.
"I have yet to have someone explain networking like you do. Thank you for your support!”
